A Documentary Film about Nino D’Angelo
IN CINEMAS FROM NOVEMBER 20, 2025
Proud to announce the theatrical release of Nino. 18 Days —
a story born from the need to return home, to look back at time passed, and to understand how distance can turn into awareness.
Nino. 18 Days is a film about memory, love, and identity — but above all, about that invisible bond that unites fathers and sons, even when life sets them on different paths.
Filmed between Naples, Rome, and the places of childhood, the film follows Nino D’Angelo, my father, as he prepares for a major concert marking his return to the stage.
Through his gaze, and mine behind the camera, art becomes dialogue, and time… a way to find each other again.
Nota del regista
“With Nino. 18 Days, I wanted to tell my father’s story — and in doing so, I ended up finding a part of myself in his eyes, in his songs, in that bond which, over time, may change in form but never in essence.
I started from a simple idea: to film life as it happens.
Between a stage, a rehearsal, a family conversation. That’s how the story became something larger — a reflection on time, on memory, and on love, the real kind, the one that never separates but unites.Making this film was like returning to my roots, to the truth of things.
And today, knowing that Nino. 18 Days is finally reaching cinemas feels like closing a circle that began many years ago.”
